Shanghai Day2

Shanghai New International Expo Centre..It's humongous!!! This is only one side of it.

We were in this area!

We went to see how far they've done, so we can plan our schedule.. Then we went through all the stuffs we've got and went out to get something else to go with..

I was working, they were enjoying..

After we went back to the hotel to freshen up, we went out again for dinner..My mom!!! She wants to take subway to save $$$?!?!?! WHY???

So we took subway!!! I worked late and thank GOD for that, otherwise rush hour in Shanghai.. Trust me, you don't want to be in it!!!

We follow the guide to here close to the Bund to look for the restaurant.. The city is beautiful at night.

We were all tired after looking for a while to find this restaurant.. It's SO far!!! We were crazy!!!
It's not that spectacular?!?! We were disappointed..

What we had for dinner..Nothing special!!! Just some regular homely meal.. WTF!!!

Shanghai Day1

At the airport, leaving Taipei to Shanghai..

We were bored! Waiting to board..

My SWEET~~~ hotel room!!!

It's HUGE!!! It has kitchen in it?!?!?!

We arrived in the afternoon, it was sOooo hot. We couldn't stand the heat there in Shanghai, so we stay in the hotel and took a nap! It's REALLY hot in Shanghai, even more hot than Taiwan. It's crazy!!!

We were waiting to be seated at the restaurant. This is my mom's favorite restaurant in Shanghai. We have to come here every single time when we come to Shanghai!

They don't take reservation here, we have to go and wait there. We waited for almost an hour that day! Waiting always feels long, we were bored!!! The best thing to get pass waiting was taking pictures. :p

This restaurant is ridiculously big. I think they have over 200 tables. Even so, we still need to wait!!! If you love spicy and by any chance, you get to come to Shanghai, you must come to this restaurant!!! Seriously!!!

The restaurant even has their own newspaper to introduce the new dishes to their customers.

We took the regular train instead of the high speed train to Tainan..Yeah..We were so happy to get out of our city to somewhere NEW and different!!!

This was the Cafe' that my bro told us to go, it's located in the weirdest place! It's in the middle of the old apartment buildings!!!

When you walked in, you'll see these.. So Japanese!!!

I loved the feel about this place, it's kind of like a hidden paradise.

I don't really like this!!! I need to take off my shoes! I mean everyone needs to take off the shoes. It's kind of annoying and inconvenience.

It's like someone's apartment or a library..

I loved all the cold concrete with woods and little greens everywhere..It's so relaxing and feeling like home.

Everything is very simple but stylish..

It felt so comfy and relaxing! I almost feel like I was home.. ;P


I loved the outside even more! Loved the fish pond, loved the way they plant the trees/flowers..etc. Loved the randomness..

What we wore that day..I didn't bring that much of clothing back to Aisa. I was running out of clothing and I still can't find anything to buy so far.. ;p Boooooooo..

This is a hospital, can you believe it??? It's a hospital built to look like a temple?!?!?! WHY???

Afterwards, we went to eat some real/tranditional Tainan snack..It's delicious!!!

Smelly tofu smells really bad, but tase really GOOD!!!

I am stuck in Asia at the moment due to some Visa issue!!! I miss New York so much!!!! I can't wait to go back and I hope I could get to go back a.s.a.p.!!! Asia makes me lazy. ;P I didn't have anything here belongs to me to work on, and I don't have a job! GOD..please bless me that I can go back to the US SOOOOON!!!!! Plzzzzzzzzzzzz.......
