NY Fashion week

I like to play around with what I have in my closet, I paired this layered vintage skirt with a beaded/ studded silk top here. But this time, I wore it with a Marc by Marc Jacobs ikat sweater to Nicole Miller show at Lincoln center.

Nicole Miller's Spring/Summer 2012 show burst onto the runway with a blast of colors and prints! The show was called Fast Forward Rewind, and it had a bit of the past in the 1980s styles on board and some 1990's looks too. According to the show notes “the speed of wheels in motion..the velocity of a bicycle racing towards the goal" was the designer's inspiration. The whole collection reminded me of rainbow. She uses the rainbow range of color so brilliantly with its cut, patchwork and mixed the prints with the stripe. It's so young, fresh and playful. I love pretty much everything about it and I can really see myself buying from this new Spring / Summer collection!
