Vintage floral
Paul Smith burgundy wool blazer, circle sweater, pilot hat and combat wedges from Korea, vintage floral dress, Coach poppy crystal necklace and DIY beaded necklace, vintage braided belt, Mulberry Alexa bag, random tights and rings.
It's been a really long while not seeing all these bridges. I'm so happy to see it now. I still need to adjust myself to get used to the New York weather. It's too freezing for me!!!
I went away for 26 weeks, but I found myself forgetting all these things that I used to do; they are the most basic daily stuffs that I did the whole time before I left. But after 26 weeks, I could NOT remember most of them. I dunno it's just me or everyone is the same.
For example, I can't remember the front door code to enter my apartment building, my password for my bank, which side of the subway station I should get in to get to the place I have to be and so on. There are a lot more, I can't even count. It's embarrassing. I felt like almost everything is new to me now, I have to figure lots of things out again. Like the first time. Is it abnormal??? Do I have short-term memory???
New York is the same exciting place that I always love, but somehow for the first time in my life I thought about leaving.. This is definitely something new for me. ;)

I can totally relate to that. I've lived in Auckland for 18 years before moving to Melbourne and then when I went back to Auckland, I couldn't remember how to get to places. It was so frustrating, I had to use a GPS to get around. Auckland is not a very big city at all in fact Melbourne is probably 10 times the size of it but somehow I completely blocked it out.
ReplyDeleteI forgot my debit card pin. It wasn't like I stopped using it. I used the same pin for years. And one day when I went shopping it was gone. Just gone. I still don't remember it to this day. After complications with obtaining the number threw the bank I decided to cancel the card. I find this so embarrassing that I never told anyone. Not even my husband. And I tell him everything.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love how you pull that outfit together. I would have never thought to combine those pieces.
LOVE this outfit!! You look fab as usual. XxX

ReplyDeleteHaha..I went to Auckland, New Zealand for college, but I've never been to Australia though. I am glad that you guys can relate to this. Made me feel better, at least I don't feel myself stupid anymore. It's just funny feeling that I can't remember the previous living stuffs that I was in for that long. Embarrassing! ;p
